This season we had 66 swimmers, 62 full time, 4 part time. 18 of those swimmers broke 50 team records this season.
Region this season had 13 swimmers competed in 57 events; 10 first place finishes, 14 second place and 10 third
State this season had 5 swimmers competed in 16 events; 8 top 20 finishes (State last summer 4 swimmers competed in 16 events; 4 top 20 finishes)

Blue Dolphin of the Year Award - one swimmer is selected by his or her
teammates Makayla Thompson
This award is voted on by the swimmers. The coaches do not help with this selection.
At the time of the vote the swimmers are told what the Blue Dolphin of the Year should be like. Following is the list the swimmers are given: Works hard at practice, respectful to the coaches and team members, helps other swimmers, set the example of what a blue dolphin should be.
High Point Award - Awarded to one boy and one girl Makayla Thompson and
Grant King
This award is based solely on the accomplishment of the swimmer throughout the season. The coaches run a report that shows who earned the most points at swim meets for the team for the whole season. These swimmers set the bar for the team to reach for a higher quality of swimming.
Most Improved Award - Awarded to one boy and one girl Reilly Merryman
and James Myers
The coaches review several items in their selection of the Most Improved Swimmer. A swimmers attendance at practice is reviewed. Points earned at meets for the team is looked at. The swimmers progression on technique is also considered. The coaches are looking for a swimmer who is working hard and reaching for the level of swimming the coaches know they should be achieving.
Sportsmanship Award - Awarded to one boy and one girl Cadisen Nuzzo and
Connor Russell
This award is based on a swimmers ability to abide by all of the team rules. These swimmers hold a team spirit at all levels of swimming and do their best under all circumstances. During practice are positive and respectful to other swimmers and the coaches. The coaches feel they set the standard for attitude for the team.
Comeback Award - Awarded to one swimmer Dalton Rogers
The coaches select one swimmer who they feel has held on and worked hard the whole season. The comeback swimmer has the ability to comeback from a break in swimming and maintain a high standard of swimming. Hardwork and attitude are two qualities of the Comeback Swimmer.
Newcomer Award - Awarded to one swimmer Cole Rowland
Coaches select this swimmer based on a few accomplishments throughout the season. This is awarded to a first year swimmer. They look for a new swimmer who progressed in technique at a fast pass. A swimmer who worked hard and showed up for practice regular. A new swimmer who had success at swim meets due to effort and attitude.
Dedicated Award - Awarded to one swimmer per each group White, Blue, Red & Gold
Gold - Brock Bales Red - Brynna Sentel Blue - Michaela Donnel
Advanced White - Shelby Jent White - Aiden Short
This is presented to the swimmer who works hard, give it their all on a constant level. The coaches select a swimmer who is committed to working hard to beat his or her times. They have the stamina to attend practice and complete all work outs. A dedicated swimmer has the understanding that attending practice will bring success at meets.
